TSA: An American Shame; Big Government Tyranny

TSA is an example of overt, fascist POLICE STATE!

Anyone who believes this country is free is an idiot!

RESTORE AMERICA! CUT GOVERNMENT 50%!

If you want to know how tax dollars and Federal Reserve "rubber bucks" are wasted, then you merely need to book an airline ticket and experience the wonderful liberty-inspiring TSA pat-down. You'll get to experience what 1930s and 1940s Nazi Germany was like --- Papieren!

Of course, the feds believe that ALL Americans are terrorists and to illegally search and seize fingernail clippers from everyone instead of intelligently focusiing on the most likely malcontents is the least prejudicial method of restricting freedom, everyone gets to be felt-up by the government.

Selected international airports had the Backscatter/Body Imaging X-Ray scanner which were replaced with millimeter wave machines. The 4th Amendment to the Constitution is violated daily by agent "pat-downs" which are illegal searches. The former xray machines conducted a "virtual strip search" (see image) before they were removed. Because government FAILED to detect the 9/11 killers, the government subjects fliers to this intrusive, invasive violation of their privacy and their 4th Amendment rights.

If you refuse to be scanned or manually searched, then you don't fly and are subjected to an interrogation before you leave the airport. Essentially, one must volunteer to relinquish (abandon) their 4th Amendment rights in order to board an aircraft all because government needed an 'emergency' excuse for a power-grab.

Since the hastily passed Patriot Act, the TSA (requires Google or YouTube userID & PWD), and NDAA, our Bill of Rights exists on paper alone. Secret FISA Courts issue sneak & peek warrants and wiretap warrants daily whereby the feds spy on citizens' homes, places of business and a variety of electronic communications. CONgress passed these laws rapidly while citizen sentiment favored a repair of departmental in-fighting between Justice, CIA, and NSA. What we got instead was a serious loss of freedom. Lately, the CONgress amended the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to plan for 'mass fatalities'. This government must go and be replaced by "representatives" who, according to their oath, will UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION.

Why Do We Need Term Limits?

John Adams said, “Without [term limits] every man in power becomes a ravenous beast of prey”. That being said, here are some of the reasons we believe our country needs Term Limits.

  1. Term Limits can help break the cycle of corruption in Congress. Case studies show that the longer an individual stays in office, the more likely they are to stop serving the public and begin serving their own interests.
  2. Term Limits will encourage regular citizens to run for office. Presently, there is a 94% re-election rate in the House and 83% in the Senate. Because of name recognition, and usually the advantage of money, it can be easy to stay in office. Without legitimate competition, what is the incentive for a member of Congress to serve the public? Furthermore, it is almost a lost cause for the average citizen to try to campaign against current members of Congress.
  3. Term Limits will break the power special interest groups have in Congress.
  4. Term Limits will force politicians to think about the impact of their legislation because they will be returning to their communities shortly to live under the laws they enacted.
  5. Term Limits will bring diversity of people and fresh ideas to Congress.
  6. Term limits for lawmakers: when is enough, enough?

[Editor's Note: If you want to get rich, i.e. advance from a low paying government bureaucrat job on the local or state level, THEN GET ELECTED TO THE US CONGRESS (House or Senate). Once you're elected, it's easy to steal from your campaign contributions or the Congressional budget allocated to your seat and staff. You can go on a government-funded junket with 'lavishly' paid expenses. The list of ways to steal from the government while in office is inexhaustible. There are only a few Congressmen who left Congress just wealthy instead of a multi-millionaire. Of course, there are several who arrived in Congress as multi-millionaires and don't need to steal from the government.]

FROM Privatizing the Transportation Security Administration

By Chris Edwards, Director of Tax Policy Studies and editor of Downsizing Government

fter the terrorist attacks in 2001, the federal government moved quickly to increase spending on aviation security and take control of passenger and baggage screening at U.S. airports. Congress created the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in 2001, and then transferred the agency to the new Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in 2002.

TSA’s main activity is operating security screening at more than 450 commercial airports across the nation. The agency also runs the Federal Air Marshal Service (FAMS), analyzes intelligence data, and oversees the security of rail, transit, highways, and pipelines. TSA has 62,000 employees and an annual budget in 2013 of $7.9 billion.

After more than a decade of experience, it is clear that the creation of TSA and the federal takeover of airport screening was a mistake. Auditors have found that TSA’s screening performance has been no better, and possibly worse, than private screening. And TSA has become known for mismanagement, dubious investments, and security failures. Former TSA chief Kip Hawley noted last year that the agency is "hopelessly bureaucratic." And recent congressional reports have blasted TSA for "costly, counter intuitive, and poorly executed" plans and for having an "enormous, inflexible and distracted bureaucracy."

We would be better off without a monolithic federal agency that controls all major aspects of aviation security. Most airports in Europe and Canada use private companies for their passenger and baggage screening. That practice creates a more efficient and innovative security structure, and it allows governments to focus on gathering intelligence and conducting analysis rather than on trying to manage a large workforce.

Congress should abolish TSA. The TSA activities that have not shown substantial benefits should be eliminated. Passenger and baggage screening—which represents about two-thirds of TSA’s budget—should be moved to the control of airports and opened to competitive private bidding. And the remaining parts of TSA—including intelligence and analysis activities—should be moved to other federal agencies.

Police State

"Dishonorable and foolish people claim the existence of terrorism essentially gives license for the rest of us to become criminal, willfully trampling on individuals’ rights to privacy, property, free speech, due process, civic participation, etc. Mass criminality against the individual in the name of social safety is the glue that holds together all tyrannical systems, triggering a catastrophic cycle of moral relativism that eventually bleeds a culture dry."

Congress Exploits Our Fears to Take Our Liberty

No objectively thinking, knowledgeable person who doesn't draw a welfare check or use food stamps and who is educated enough to realize how Americans have lost their rights, freedom and liberty should read further about how government agencies are turning America into a totalitarian police state:

FROM Police Gone Wild: Police Arrest Girl At Gunpoint Over Bottled Water

When a half-dozen men and a woman in street clothes closed in on University of Virginia student Elizabeth Daly, 20, she and two roommates panicked.

That led to Daly spending a night and an afternoon in the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. Her initial offense? Walking to her car with bottled water, cookie dough and ice cream just purchased from the Harris Teeter in the Barracks Road Shopping Center for a sorority benefit fundraiser.

A group of state Alcoholic Beverage Control agents clad in plainclothes approached her, suspecting the blue carton of LaCroix sparkling water to be a 12-pack of beer. Police say one of the agents jumped on the hood of her car. She says one drew a gun. Unsure of who they were, Daly tried to flee the darkened parking lot.

“They were showing unidentifiable badges after they approached us, but we became frightened, as they were not in anything close to a uniform,” she recalled Thursday in a written account of the April 11 incident.

“I couldn’t put my windows down unless I started my car, and when I started my car they began yelling to not move the car, not to start the car. They began trying to break the windows. My roommates and I were … terrified,” Daly stated.

Charlottesville Commonwealth’s Attorney Dave Chapman read Daly’s account and said it was factually consistent.

Prosecutors say she apologized profusely when she realized who the agents were. But that wasn’t good enough for ABC agents, who charged her with three felonies. Prosecutors withdrew those charges Thursday in Charlottesville General District Court, but Daly still can’t understand why she sat in jail.

“This has been an extremely trying experience,” she wrote. “It is something to this day I cannot understand or believe has come to this point.”

A gents at ABC’s regional office in Staunton deferred to the agency’s public affairs office in Richmond. Spokeswoman Carol Mawyer would not provide details of the arrest or ABC’s investigative procedures, except to say that all agents wear plainclothes and carry metal badges.

Agents charged Daly with two counts of assaulting a law enforcement officer and one count of eluding police, all Class 6 felonies carrying a maximum penalty of five years in prison and $2,500 in fines per offense.

[Editor's Note: The above little ditty is not only POLICE GONE WILD, it's LEGISLATURE and EXECUTIVE GONE WILD. Everyday LIBERTY is restricted more and more. Government laughs while we lose our freedom. Eventually, LIFE will be against the law.]

LINKS FROM New Legislation Would Repeal Laws that Brought the Surveillance State

Do yourself a favor! Watch "It can't happen here!" for a prediction that is bcoming reality!

Read, understand, and tell your Mis-representative and Senator (Caesar) that you want the Agenda to Restore America enacted!.

We are told that claims like this email (and many others) are just disingenuous or the delusions of crazy people. The proof these claims are correct is demonstrated by the implementation (regulations) of CONgress' mal-written statutes, the list of which is almost endless. If CONgress purposefully writes laws that are very general, vague, and/or ambiguous, then when the enacted law reaches the Executive Branch (responsible for enforcing statutes), the bureaucrats can write ANY open-ended regulations for ANY interpretation of the meaning of the nebulously written law. Instead of focusing directly on highly probable threats, the government has either really stupidly or intentionally tyrannically implemented these laws.

FROM: Where Could We POSSIBLY Cut the Federal Budget?(almost obvious sarcasm)

The report released today [May 9, 2012] by the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee (T&I) and Committee on Oversight and Government Reform (OGR) found that TSA is wasting hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars by inefficiently deploying screening equipment and technology to commercial airports. When investigators assessed the situation at TSA’s Dallas, Texas, Transportation Logistics Center in February, they observed approximately 5,700 pieces of security equipment held at the site. They estimated that the non-utilized equipment had a purchase value of $184 million, in addition to the $3.5 million annual cost to lease and manage the warehouse. Investigators also noted that TSA’s preference was to have equipment shipped to the centralized warehouse rather than direct from manufacturer to deployment site, creating an additional inefficiency.

In addition to noting serious management and procurement challenges, the report also points out that TSA willfully delayed Congressional oversight of the agency’s logistics center twice in a failed attempt to hide the disposal of approximately 1,300 pieces of equipment. It also indicates that TSA management potentially violated U.S. law by knowingly providing inaccurate warehouse inventory reports to Congressional staff during an investigative visit.

A copy of the report is here.

FROM More Evidence That The U.S. Government Is A Criminal Enterprise

July 15, 2013 by Bob Livingston

The U.S. government is a criminal enterprise and is out of control. The U.S. Constitution was drafted to limit government and affirm the natural rights held by the people, but it is serially ignored and violated by the President, the Congress, the Supreme Court and law enforcers both Federal and local.

The result is growing tyranny and a police state and a Nation that is becoming a simmering cauldron of unrest — sparked by the passage of unConstitutional laws by a Congress controlled by moneyed interests; the affirming of those laws by the Supreme Court; long-term high rates of unemployment; a declining standard of living; increased regulation by unaccountable, bought-and-paid-for psychotic government functionaries; money printing; a presstitute mass media; [Editor's Note: love that word!] increasingly militarized and militant local law enforcement officers; and a declining morality encouraged by both the political and celebrity classes — that is poised to explode.

The elected class and their handlers have been at war with the American people, the Constitution and the American way of life for many years. In the beginning, they used gradualism to sneak small abuses by an unobservant public. But as the unConstitutional encroachments gained ground, they accelerated. We are now rapidly heading toward a calamitous event that will rock the system to its core and, hopefully, restore us to Constitutional governance.

Evidence over 100 years shows that Progressives and Socialists of either party, Democrat or Republican, consider the Constitution an impediment to their desired goals instead of part of the unique character of the USA desired by many for 225 years (2012 - 1787=225). 'Emergencies', whether real or propagandized, have provided the opportunity for Representatives and Senators to weaken the Constitution and the Constituion's Bill of Rights. The power-grab began with Teddy Roosevelt, Woody Wilson, and FDR. The failure to uphold the Constitution by weakening our rights marched on with all presidents and CONgresses since LBJ, Richard "I'm not a crook" Nixon, and especially George Bush who was (I think) too ignorant to realize what his own crooked agencies were doing. All statutes and enforcing regulations that even slightly weaken the Bill of Rights and the Constitution in general MUST BE REPEALED!!

[Editor's Note: The above is happening and will happen more if Citizens of America permit government to advance socialism (and fascism) beyond its current level of control over us. The above article shows how 'emergencies' (real or not) are used to destroy freedom and commerce and is an example of how our 'mis-representatives' (using 'emergencies') have and will increasingly ruin capitalism and personal freedom in the USA.

Our 'mis-representatives' represent only themselves --- NOT their constituents! Mis-reps are on a power trip to gain more and more power over us. An informal historical study of the last 100 years with depression, recessions, world wars, 'police actions', and inflationary devaluation of the dollar (most of which was caused by government) shows that each event was used as an excuse to tighten the control over citizens.

Our mis-representatives have legislated themselves an increasingly larger slice of the economic pie while slowly destroying the private economy which provides their piece of the pie. Mis-representatives sit high above those who testify and make their photo-opportunistic speeches to impress the public and the suckers of America are impressed and vote for the best speech --- not the proof of a real representative's effort to downsize government and remove government intrusion from American life. TSA should be PRIVATIZED to restore some of our freedom, improve efficiency, eliminate forced unionization, and lower cost by more than 50%.

The government procedure for gaining complete, totalitarian control of a nation is first to make everyone dependent on government, either by supporting people financially or eliminating all choices except the government choice. Then, government can do anything it wants. These government clowns will succeed at one and only one thing: the government will cause the creation and expansion of a black market for all goods and services that will destroy the economy. Eventually, all citizens who can leave America will expatriate to a more favorable country. Government in this country was NEVER envisaged to consume 40% of the economy and NEVER meant to meddle in the lives of FREE people.

YA GOTTA VOTE! ONLY FOR REAL, TRUE, PROVABLE, VERIFIABLE, CONFIRMABLE CONSERVATIVES AND LIBERTARIANS. ASSUMING THAT GOVERNMENT CAN REVERSE THE DAMAGE DONE TO LIBERTY AND FREEDOM, ANY TWO YEAR VOTING CYCLE IS THE BEST POSSIBLE YEAR TO DO WHAT MANY AMERICANS HAVE THREATENED TO DO FOR YEARS...THROW-OUT EVERY CAREER, SOCIALIST, PROGRESSIVE POLITICIAN AND CONTINUE TO BUILD A RESPONSIBLE GOVERNMENT EVERY TWO YEARS (assuming you don't want government checks and food stamps) and Restore America.]
