Destruction of Healthcare in the USA by the Parasite (government)

Is ANY government involvement in healthcare necessary? The political influence of Socialism on America since Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto and the Russian Revolution (1917) all enabled Progressives (1900-1920) followed by Franklin Roosevelt from 1933-1945 to transform America into a society concerned with equality and the redistribution of wealth from those who have educated themselves and worked for their monetary reward to those less fortunate (for whatever reason).

I was taught that nothing is free and if I want something, I must work for that something. Government since the early 1900s began taking from earners and transferring their wealth to people who do nothing or claim that they can't do anything. I think that every able-bodied person can contribute to America in some way, and thereby earn their subsidies from government. Today, the government provides a HUGE "gravy train" for many people who could work, but are able to scam the government out of money taken from productive people.

Anyone who believes this country is free is an idiot!

RESTORE AMERICA! CUT GOVERNMENT 50%!

Article V

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.

The FACTS regarding government-run, single payer healthcare in other countries are documented and indisputable.

In the UK, the government-run healthcare system is the fourth (4th) largest employer in the world. There are four (4) bureaucrats for every doctor. UK citizens, even though they live in a “democracy” with representatives in the House of Commons cannot eliminate the bureaucracy that has engulfed the UK budget with huge deficit expenditures.

The result of this bureaucratic nightmare is:

  1. There are queues of people waiting for months and even years just to see a doctor.
  2. The waiting results in death.
  3. Elderly people die starving in hospital wards.
  4. The mortality rate for all life-threatening diseases such as cancer or heart disease or infection is much higher in the UK than the USA.
  5. People from all over the world (not just the UK) come to the US for treatment of their ailments.
  6. Healthcare is rationed since there is no incentive for a doctor to work, i.e. help you and no incentive for potential medical students to go to school and get their MD which has lead to a massive shortage of medical personnel at all levels.
  7. Healthcare actually costs more because of deficits and massive inflation caused by government central banks. Inflation causes unemployment and rapidly rising prices/wages to make up for the devalued currency.
  8. The latest technological advances in medicine are unavailable or too costly. The medical technology development infrastructure is non-existent.

It is obvious that the USA’s PRIVATE healthcare system is the best or near the best in the world although higher cost. The reasons are:

  • There are multiple, independent, private providers dispersed all over the country. NO SINGLE entity is responsible for ALL care. The consumer may choose providers based on their community's evaluation.
  • Foreign residents travel to the United States to receive the best, most technologicaly up-to-date healthcare in the world.
  • The providers have an incentive to perform, i.e. they are paid for their service.
  • Government-run, “killer-care” in other countries employs doctors and seriously restricts the physicians decision-making. U.S. Veterans Administration healthcare for military veterans is a similar failure.
  • A patient has rights and can sue doctors and hospitals for failure.
  • Our mortality rates are much lower than countries with government healthcare.
  • Until very recently (after March 23, 2010), no pharmaceutical, medical device, or service was delayed or rationed.
  • NO SINGLE PAYER: Payment for healthcare occurs directly by individuals (self-pay) or after remittance of a periodic premium is provided by private enterprise insurance. Insurance may be procured by premium payment from an individual or employer health plan. Most retirees have either a retirement pension health insurance plan provided by their former employer or government insurance such as Medicare or both. This wide variety of CHOICES for the CONSUMER is the hallmark of a freer healthcare economy.
  • Federal and state governments share Medicaid insurance for indigents.
  • Patients wait no more than a few weeks to receive health services, usually just a few days due to schedule load.

How To Avoid The Obamacare Death Trap

January 28, 2013 by Bob Livingston

We are less than one year out from healthcare tyranny under the oligarchy-endorsed Obamacare.

It’s very deceptive to call Obamacare socialized medicine. The law has nothing to do with healthcare. It’s just the opposite. It’s sickness care. The Nazis had their gas chambers and America has “medical care,” which is the most sophisticated killing machine that demented minds can create.

Americans are mentally dependent on the “medical” brainwash. When our dumbed-down people hear the trigger word “medical care,” they go blind and hyperventilate. They do not know a scam from a sham. They will go unanimous for anything with the term “healthcare” in it.

Obamacare is not healthcare. It has absolutely nothing to do with healthcare. It’s a great transfer of wealth and population control with a ticket to the death panels when we are no longer considered productive citizens.

As the paper money regime collapses, the money creators are speeding up the printing presses in a desperate ploy to transfer the wealth of the American people before it becomes worthless anyway. It is disguised warfare against the American people.

It reminds one of the last days of the Nazi regime. As the cities were reduced to rubble, German citizens were being shot for “treason.” In the last days of any regime, the process of oppression of citizens is intensified.

What is wrong with our healthcare system?

  • Government regulations have inundated the healthcare system since 1950 by slowly creeping into the business of private doctors and hospitals, gaining more and more control over the way doctors and hospitals do business. Abiding by bogus statues designed to CONTROL the industry (and flow money into contributors pockets) costs money.
  • Unfortunately, the cost of bogus (some obsolete), destructive regulations (piled on since 1950), many frivolous without merit lawsuits against doctors and hospitals, and the FED (increasing prices by printing money out-of-thin-air) have increased the cost of healthcare (including pharmaceuticals) beyond the ability of most self-pay individuals, and, therefore, requires the purchase of insurance to cover costs.
  • The very high cost of medical education (again caused by government and FED) have forced many former pre-Med students in the USA to not pursue a future career as a physician. While there is a shortage of competent physicians (much greater shortage in single-payer countries), doctors have substantially increased their productivity and availibility with automated scheduling, the latest medical devices and equipment, computer systems, and paramedic personnel to stabilize patient conditions and increase the level of diagnostic accuracy and treatment.
  • There are restrictions on insurance companies that prevent those companies from offering health insurance across states borders nationwide. There are many insurance companies in the USA that would compete by offering lower premiums if all insurance companies had no regulatory restrictions limiting their business. Of course, many insurance companies have lobbied state government representatives to selectively limit market access of their competitors.
  • The complexity of handling payment in the medical world after 1950 for doctors and hospitals has caused many doctors to complain that their focus on the delivery of healthcare is misdirected by problems with billing and accounting. As a result, many doctors have joined 'associations' of like-skilled doctors with the same speciality to efficiently distribute the cost of business operations. While this may increase the complexity of access for patients, many of the billing complexities for doctors have distibuted to billing and accounting personnel.
  • Since there are many hyper-liberal judges in hyper-liberal cities, courts in these cities allow any silly, frivolous lawsuits against doctors and hospitals. This drives-up insurance premiums for doctors and hospitals who pass the expense on to us. A newly established medical board of inquiry could evaluate a case and report to the courts. The courts could decide to accept the case or not. All so-called malpractice awards should be capped to payment of medical expenses plus loss of income and interest on the income for the patient who wins the suit.
  • There is no citizenship requirement. If an illegal alien goes to the emergency room for treatment, the hospital treats the person regardless of citizenship status. This increases the general cost of services for everyone.
  • There is no standard facility for voluntary arbitration.

What can be done? Eliminate all of the problems above.

Apparently, only Americans drawing welfare, Socialist Insecurity and Food Stamps voted in November but, INEVITABLY, future candidates to SAVE America will have the following platform:

  1. Cut federal government expenses in half by 2024 by eliminating half of the employees and,
  2. The BEST general solution for healthcare is for government to get completely OUT OF THE WAY. Rescind most regulations.
  3. Repeal and rescind all statutes and regulations that exert ridiculous controls and power over Citizens of the United States of America. Many of these laws deal with interstate commerce.
  4. Eliminate all unnecessary cabinet & bureaucratic government departments such as Education, Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, etc. See US Socialism. The federal government began with only Defense, State, Treasury, and Justice. The freedom of Citizens and a Free Market depends on down-sizing the federal government to 1787 levels. Most agencies established since then to provide "make-work" jobs should be eliminated.
  5. Lastly, and most important to give back even more freedom to Americans:
    • PRIVATIZE SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE/MEDICAID and here is a good plan in PDF format for "privatization"
    • An analysis of the term "privatization" is necessary but beyond the scope of this short article on government caused HEALTHCARE DISASTER. Ideally, "privatization" means to eliminate ALL government involvement in life plans for which each person should be responsible. The feds, however, forced those who earn income to deposit a portion in Socialist Insecurity during their income earning life because it is thought that income earners have no foresight and will not save responsibly for their elderly, non-earning life. Many employers offer the option of investing a portion of income in various 'retirement' plans. This is the best alternative to the government's theft disguised as a "safety net".

Private Enterprise plans for healthcare always worked well for employees, but the cost of health insurance for employers exceeded what many employers were willing to pay. Employers could create a 'cooperative', non-profit corporation for paying healthcare bills. Instead of paying government with paycheck extraction, employees and employers would pay the cooperative. Additionally, the healthcare funds of the 'coop' could be invested in a well diversified set of investments to enhance the value of the funds. The 'coop' would be auditted on a quarterly basis by an independent auditor. The cooperative could also handle buying supplemental insurance (maybe from AARP) for paying any excess medical charges not covered by funds in the cooperative. Essentially, government waste, fraud, and abuse would be replaced by a professionally and technologically competent company the income of which is derived from employers and employees.

MEDICAID, however, remains a government problem unless the proposed COOPERATIVE mission includes handling indigent and disabled Americans.

    • ELIMINATE personal and corporate income taxes, i.e. repeal the 16th Amendment and eliminate the IRS.
    • REPLACE the income tax with a Federal Sales Tax.
    • ELIMINATE the estate tax, interest tax, dividend tax, and capital gains tax.
    • ELIMINATE the Federal Reserve and restore the Gold Standard (in modified form) (also here and here).
    • Rewrite ALL government employee contracts and union agreements to include strict rules for employee performance, termination, transfer of healthcare to private insurance, and transfer of pensions to private 401K's.
    • Develop an accelerated plan (over 4 years) to CALL (and pay off) Treasury Bonds and Notes such that national debt levels be reduced to no more than 20% of GDP.
    • Generally, Restore America FROM ITS CURRENT PATH TO socialist AmeriKa!

The result of these changes will be an explosion of growth not seen in the USA since 1880.

The government should be forced to live within its means. If they need extra bucks, they can withdraw some money from their secret Swiss accounts that contain squirreled away bucks from campaigns and the US Treasury.

How States Can Stop Obamacare

A new study by Michael F. Cannon explains how a critical mass of states exercising their vetoes can force Congress to reconsider, and even repeal, Obama's harmful and unpopular health care law.

The Destruction of Private Healthcare for the Entitlement Mentality (and votes):

FROM Introduction – Replacing Obamacare, by Michael F. Cannon, co-authored by Michael D. Tanner

On March 23, solo, President Barack Obama signed the Affordable Health Care At into law.

Renamed ObamaCare at its conception, the Act's 2,700 pages are filled with government price controls, mandates, subsidies, bureaucracies, and regulations. And now, having escaped being struck down by the Supreme Court, the dangers it poses to individuals, families, companies, industries, and our nation as a whole, have to be confronted, halted, and replaced.

The Cato Institute has been a leader in educating the American people about the threats ObamaCare poses to individual freedom, to democracy, and to health care reform. This book assembles the best of our work on ObamaCare, and on how free markets are the only way to make health care better, more affordable, and more secure. As you will note, this book contains the work of over a dozen national experts who have dedicated their professional lives to enabling true, effective, health care reforms. Readers can follow Cato's work at www.cato.org and the Cato@Liberty blog.

FROM Chapter 7 – Replacing Obamacare, by Michael F. Cannon, co-authored by Michael D. Tanner

To believe in universal health care is to believe:

  • that we can do more and do better, all at once—
  • that it is possible to have hospitals full of high technology and emergency departments with room for all comers;
  • that it is possible for people to choose their doctors and have a say in their treatments;
  • that it is possible to make the economy more free and more efficient; and
  • that it is possible to do all of this for everybody, not just an economically or medically privileged few, in a way we can all find affordable. Emphasis added.]

(As delivered by “Church of Universal Coverage” high priest Johnathan Cohn and chronicled in the book Sick, chapter 9, p. 231)

Government bureaucrats want their jobs and they keep them by gaining more and more power and control over their serfs and slaves (us). Government produces NOTHING. Government is a PARASITE that lives off the producers, i.e. private business and entrepreneurs who make and sell a product and employ millions of people who are ripped-off by government.

"One man decides how much money to conjure out of thin air, how much inflation to create, how artificially low he wants to keep interest rates to screw people who save in favor of people who spend recklessly.

One man decides which countries to bomb, which countries to invade, which countries to bail out.

One man decides that children should be fondled at airports and bathed in radiation.

A small group of men decide how much money to confiscate from their citizens, how much to blow on mind-numbingly stupid spending intiatives, and how much to indebt future generations.

It's a remarkable fraud... and only a few people get it."

Why Do We Need Term Limits?

John Adams said, “Without [term limits] every man in power becomes a ravenous beast of prey”. That being said, here are some of the reasons we believe our country needs Term Limits.

  1. Term Limits can help break the cycle of corruption in Congress. Case studies show that the longer an individual stays in office, the more likely they are to stop serving the public and begin serving their own interests.
  2. Term Limits will encourage regular citizens to run for office. Presently, there is a 94% re-election rate in the House and 83% in the Senate. Because of name recognition, and usually the advantage of money, it can be easy to stay in office. Without legitimate competition, what is the incentive for a member of Congress to serve the public? Furthermore, it is almost a lost cause for the average citizen to try to campaign against current members of Congress.
  3. Term Limits will break the power special interest groups have in Congress.
  4. Term Limits will force politicians to think about the impact of their legislation because they will be returning to their communities shortly to live under the laws they enacted.
  5. Term Limits will bring diversity of people and fresh ideas to Congress.
  6. Term limits for lawmakers: when is enough, enough?

[Editor's Note: If you want to get rich, i.e. advance from a low paying government bureaucrat job on the local or state level, THEN GET ELECTED TO THE US CONGRESS (House or Senate). Once you're elected, it's easy to steal from your campaign contributions or the Congressional budget allocated to your seat and staff. You can go on a government-funded junket with 'lavishly' paid expenses. The list of ways to steal from the government while in office is inexhaustible. There are only a few Congressmen who left Congress just wealthy instead of a multi-millionaire. Of course, there are several who arrived in Congress as multi-millionaires and don't need to steal from the government.]

FROM More Evidence That The U.S. Government Is A Criminal Enterprise

July 15, 2013 by Bob Livingston

The U.S. government is a criminal enterprise and is out of control. The U.S. Constitution was drafted to limit government and affirm the natural rights held by the people, but it is serially ignored and violated by the President, the Congress, the Supreme Court and law enforcers both Federal and local.

The result is growing tyranny and a police state and a Nation that is becoming a simmering cauldron of unrest — sparked by the passage of unConstitutional laws by a Congress controlled by moneyed interests; the affirming of those laws by the Supreme Court; long-term high rates of unemployment; a declining standard of living; increased regulation by unaccountable, bought-and-paid-for psychotic government functionaries; money printing; a presstitute mass media; [Editor's Note: love that word!] increasingly militarized and militant local law enforcement officers; and a declining morality encouraged by both the political and celebrity classes — that is poised to explode.

The elected class and their handlers have been at war with the American people, the Constitution and the American way of life for many years. In the beginning, they used gradualism to sneak small abuses by an unobservant public. But as the unConstitutional encroachments gained ground, they accelerated. We are now rapidly heading toward a calamitous event that will rock the system to its core and, hopefully, restore us to Constitutional governance.

Dear Eric,

Last week, the Obama Administration attempted to spin its announcement of a one-year delay in Obamacare's employer mandate as an effort to implement the law "in a careful, thoughtful manner." Don't be fooled. Even Democrats have admitted the law has turned into a massive "train wreck," with delays, glitches, and problems aplenty. Read more for a dozen more Obamacare implementation failures.

An estimate of bureaucrats (unionized government employees) who administer Obamacare, directly or indirectly, exceeds 50,000. With the estimated number of very expensive and extravagant government employees and the ridiculously inefficient complexity of the management of the system, do YOU at all wonder why this socialist program will exceed the cost of any program ever foisted upon us? CON gress has inflicted an impossible to manage system onto the People!
